DORION The Dorion-Ouimet Women's Institute will hold their Annual Turkey Supper on Labor Day, Sept. 5 in the Dorion Community Hall. This is a family affair, so come and enjoy it with your friends. The Home and School executive meeting will be held on Aug. 29 in the school at Dorion. NIPIGON The Nipigon Flyers will hold a street dance Friday, Aug. 26 on Front St. in front of the Nipigon Inn. Dancing from 9 till 1 a.m. to a local orchestra. Admission is $1.00. The first meeting of the Nipigon Legion executive will be held on Sept. 5 with president Stan Harper presiding. District Social and Personal holiday in Winnipeg. Misses Audrey and Mamie Pykilyk are holidaying at Sault Ste. Marie. Many Dorion residents attended the funeral in Port Arthur of Albert Barrett.
