Description: This wedding photo shows Nicholas (Nick) and Dimitra Daskalos on their wedding day (January 11, 1953). They were married at the Ukrainian Greek Orthodox Church in Port Arthur. Dimitra (Makris) immigrated to Port Arthur in 1947 and was sponsored by her sister Maria/Mary (Makris)and brother-in-law Steve Andrews. Nicholas arrived in 1952.
