A delicious turkey buffet lunch was served. Credit for a very successful party goes to the Entertainment Committee which consisted of Sylvia Entsen, Helen Kuorikoski, Linda Salonen, Irene Martin and Lila Makkne. We hear Tom is Just waiting for Xmas so that he can give all the girls an Xmas kiss. The first game of the year in the Arena will be played on Thursday, Nipigon against Red Rock. With last week-end’s results fresh in the fans minds there should be a good turnout. They’ll have lots of new faces to see. The Waterworks Dept, asks all Nipigon residents not to use water unnecessarily until further notice. We are using water faster than the pumps can deliver it and there is a danger that there will not be enough for domestic use and fire protection unless you cooperate. Do not flood outdoor rinks! Do not let taps run - Just use what you need! Do not waste water. There will be an increase in the staff of the Ontario Provincial Police highway division in the new year. Const.
