In August 2014 divers found the pony wheels and truck in about 30ft of water. The next day a box car at 275ft which is likely where the engine is although visibility was poor. We expect the divers back this summer and likely find the 694 after 105 years. Plenty of pictures and video will be taken. Great material for the Branchline and Canadian Rail. The Gravestone for Locomotive Engineer F Wheatley was purchased by the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers as engraved on the stone itself.
