Colour postcard featuring a winter scene of Lake Superior and the Sleeping Giant. The back of the postcard reads "Welcome the Giant: The majestic sight of the Sleeping Giant with one of four Welcome Islands in the foreground. The lighthouse was manned and cared for until 1986, although it was automated in the mid '70s. A lasting tribute to the last 'Keeper of the Light', Mr. Ray Silver and his wife Kay."
