Although I have never seen this image before, I believe that the 2nd woman on the left, wearing the light coloured car-coat is Muriel J. Flater, my mother.

I cannot say that I am sure that I recognize any of the other women, but if my identification of my mother, Muriel Flater is correct, it's possible that the group are either members of a (fledgling Terrace Bay) Catholic Women's League, or possibly they are the adult supervisors for a Brownie Troupe. I know that my mother became a "Tawny Owl", an associate supervisor, for the Brownie Troupe that I was in.

If this is a picture of women who assisted with the Brownies, then it's possible that the woman in the middle is Arleen Wig, who was the "Brown Owl", or head supervisor for the Brownie troupe. (But if that is Arleen Wig, then again, it's also possible that the group are Catholic Women's League members.)

Muriel J. Flater (nee Crosby) died 30 June 2017 at the age of 96.5 (to the day) in her home in West Vancouver BC, where she resided since the 1960s. Muriel was predeceased by her husband George Graham ("Gray") Flater, who had worked for Kimberly-Clark Corp. in several communities, including Terrace Bay. Muriel Flater was survived by her daughter Christine (David) Suits, her son David (who was born in Terrace Bay), and Muriel's four grandchildren, now all adults: Graham, Paul, Erica, and Evan Flater.

Arleen Wig died 30 November 2013 at the age of 95, in Mississauga Ontario. Arleen was predeceased by her husband Joseph ("Joe") Wig, who also had worked for Kimberly-Clark Corp. in several communities, including Terrace Bay, where he had been Mill Supervisor. Joe and Arleen Wig had five children, all of whom lived in Terrace Bay: Jos. Jr. ("Joey"), Susan ("Suzie"), Christine ("Chrissie"), Gerald ("Gerry"), and Michael ("Mickey") Wig.

The Wig and Flater families were to live not only in Terrace Bay Ontario in the same period, but also in Neenah Wisconsin (where Kimberly-Clark Corporation's Head Office was). It was in Neenah WI that Mickey & Gerry, the two younger Wig boys, taught the even younger David Flater how to play chess.
