- The Lake Superior Route, over 1000 miles through Ontario and the States of Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota, completely encircles the largest body of fresh water in the world. This was taken near Agawa Bay, a part of the Canadian section which extends from Sault Ste. Marie north and west to the inland port of Thunder Bay on the northwestern shore.
