With all the marks of reverent sympathy for the bereaved family the remains of the late James Isbester were laid in their last resting place at Beechwood yesterday afternoon. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Dr. Herridge, of St. Andrews church, at the family residence, 173 Daly Avenue. In the cortage were many of the most prominent of Ottawa's residents who had known deceased for a lifetime and were present to pay their last tribute of respect to an honored and departed friend. The chief mourners were the four sons, Colin, Malcolm, James and R. J. Isbester, and the two brothers in law, John R. and L. C. Fraser.
