JAMES ISBESTER 1. The following seven Exhibits numbered Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven and Eight are photographs which were reproduced from old photographs which were in the possession of my aunt Mrs. Malcolm Isbester (Isobel Tait Isbester) who died at Napanee, Ontario, in March, 1987. She was the widow of Malcolm Isbester, the youngest son of James Isbester. 2. It is understood that Isobel Isbester had obtained these old photographs following the death of another aunt Mrs. James Gordon Maclaren (Menote Isbester) in Montreal in 1970. 3. Other items obtained at the same time as the old photographs were a number of old newspaper clippings, sheets of a Family Register as well as other items of interest, including one in particular which dealt with the births and deaths of several members of the Fraser family. 4. Also obtained at the same time was a letter of condolence written by Father Lacombe, the Roman Catholic priest of Canadian Pacific Railway construction renown at the time of the death of James Isbester. 5. Each of the old photographs from which the seven reproductions were made were mounted on several sheets of a soft brownish paper which appeared to have once been pages taken from some sort of personal scrap book. 6. All the items which had been obtained from Isobel Isbester, including the seven old photographs, were returned to Ian Isbester, her son, of Napanee. May 30, 1990 James E. Isbester
