It shows Doctor Mike McCausland standing outside the temporary hospital built as part of the so-called South Camp at Black siding to serve as a hospital during the construction phase of Kimberly Clark's pulp mill and the townsite which later became known as Terrace Bay. This photograph was taken sometime in the early summer of 1946.
