Description
Black and white photograph of the 101st Company (R) Veterans Guard of Canada. The unit was formed at Port Arthur in 1940. The back of the photograph reads "Shown here are members of the 101st Company (R), Veterans Guard of Canada, carrying out a little target practice under the watchful eye of an instructor. These men come from all stratas of the business and industrial life of Port Arthur. Like other reserve units, they work in the daytime and carry on their training in the evenings to fit themselves for any emergency".
