This is a photo of the July 17, 1943 train crash at Cranberry Portage, Manitoba. It's on the CNR's Flin Flon line between The Pas and Flin Flon, Manitoba. Seven people were killed.

I recently did a blog post about it and hyperlink to the photo. An image very similar to this appears on the front page of the following day's Winnipeg Tribune.
