A wedding took place at 2:30 Sunday afternoon, November 24, in the Greek Orthodox Church, Fort William, when Miss Mary Makris, niece of Charles Makris, 250 North Cumberland Street, was married to Steve Andrews of Loon Lake.
Given in marriage by her uncle, the bride wore a gown of white satin with a bridal veil caught to a halo of orange blossoms. She wore white accessories and carried a bouquet of Tallsman roses.
Miss Edna Pappas was bridesmaid. She chose pink taffeta with a matching disc hat. She carried pink carnations. The groomsman was Charles Kallos of Fort William.
A reception for fifty guests wa held at the Loon Lake Hotel. Following a short honeymoon in Winnipeg Mr. and Mrs. Andrews took up residence at Looon Lake
