This is a picture of Cumberland Street North in Port Arthur (Thunder Bay) Ontario in 1934.
The cross-street visible just ahead is Egan Street and just beyond it on the right, the house with the glassed-in porch is number 321, built by Olaf G. Olson between 1904 and 1908. It was lived in by the Gallant family from 1910 to probably the late 1940's. Next to it is number 323 which housed a number of Swedish immigrants in its early years.

My Great Grandfather Ralph Ciponi operated a barber shop and store out of 321 N Cumberland from the 1940s to 60s .My father lived with him in the back of the store .If you have a picture of this around 40s or 60s i would really like to see it.Thank You very much Rob Ciponi.
