- Black and white photograph of Thos. S. Smith, son of Richard Smith who operated the Kaministiquia Hotel and who had the contract to feed all the construction crews on the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) line between Fort William and Winnipeg. Thos's brother John built and operated the Davidson Smith elevator.
