    This photograph depicts a group of passengers waiting for the arrival of a train at the Paris Junction Station, c. 1885. Two railway lines, the Great Western Railway and the Buffalo-Goderich Railway, both ran through Paris and shared a station.

    This 1905 photograph shows a community threshing which includes the Goold and Cutcliffe families. At the time it was taken, powerful agricultural machinery was unaffordable for individual farmers and it was common to share equipment among an entire community; these types of events had a feeling not unlike pioneer "bees." ...

    (On original matting) Send-off at the corner of William and Willow Streets for seven First World War volunteers, August 23, 1914. The men were conveyed in Ford cars to Brantford. The railway tracks are those of the Grand Valley Railway.
