    This item is a team photograph of the Burford Bluebirds taken in the early 1940s. The names of most players are written on the back of the photo.

    This photographs depicts a ladies' baseball team. The man on the left is coach Matt Winn. The picture was taken in ca. 1948.

    This photograph depicts a girls' baseball team. It is likely that this image was taken at St. George, Ont. The original photo is held by the South Dumfries Historical Society.

    A note on the back of the postcard suggests it was taken c. 1917-1918. The lack of reference to postage to Europe supports this.
