THE ADVANCE, BURFORD, ONTARIO, WEDNESDAY, MAY 6, 1981 Page 16 Animals of Burford Township cont'd. When we compare this statement with the variety of wild life that is still visible in the Township we are bound to conclude that the animals possess more ingenuity than even Mr. Yates would have attributed to them. In preparing this section of the natural history of the Township I have avoided any reference to the many kinds of domestic animals raised and kept on our farms. The history of the raising of domestic animals is beyond the scope of this series of articles and will have to be left to someone who has experience in the subject. The same applies to the considerable stocking of game birds that has taken place in the Township over the years. beds as they become available. Statistical information kept by the service will be of use to the District Health Council as it monitors the need for care beds in the community. The program is fully funded by the Ministry of Health. Clients will not be charged for any assistance given by P.C.S. Every effort will be made to find the most suitable accomodation for each individual or the most appropriate alternative. P.C.S. is located at 132 Clarence St. Brantford, in the Brant County Social Service building. Office hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. Monday to Friday. For further information or interview, please contact Mrs. B. Preuss, R.N. at 759-3141.
