- From the 1970s through the 1980s, Mel Robertson wrote many articles for the Burford Advance and Burford Times on the history of Burford Township. This set of clippings contains the six-part article A Cry of Fire, which ran from November 3 to December 8, 1976. It describes the history of serious fires in Burford Township, as well as the development of local firefighting.
