- This photograph shows Orpha Thomas (Sept. 18 1875 - July 19 1942), a member of the Thomas family that was a founding family of Mount Pleasant. She was the fourth daughter of James Madison Thomas and Martha Thomas. The image was provided by Linda Guest.
