- This undated photograph shows an unidentified family outside the Emily Townsend home, now 637 Mount Pleasant Road. The home was built by Alvah Townsend c. 1860 for his daughter Emily. She lived there until 1894, then sold the home to Alfred Grantham in 1894 for $790. Grantham lived there until 1903.
