The sign at the bottom lists the Penmans factory locations.
Notes
While the company's official name at this time was "Penmans Limited", there were inconsistencies in the spelling; "Penman", "Penmans" and "Penman's" were all used interchangeably, though "Penmans" was most common. Signs in this photo use both "Penmans" and "Penman's".
