Notice the fancy wood bead work at the ceiling. I aquired this material when I bought the Wood's house at 56 St. Andrew St. in 1960.

The name of the store should be Woods & Tinknell

I remember this store so well. I was just a little girl of five when my mother took me in there for the first time. Gerry Murray would give me apple blossom cookies, ( from the bins behind him in the photograph), and Horace or Buster would give me apricots. People could run a 'tab' there and pay it off on pay day. No interest or credit cards in those days!
