- This photograph depicts Charles Bruce (C.B.) Capron, who was the son of Hiram Capron's brother Horace and his wife Mary Sovereign Capron. It was taken in Paris, where he was born, in 1888.
He had two siblings, Aden and Margaret, and two half-siblings, Amelia and Cynthia. Photographs of them are also available and are linked to on the right.
This photograph was scanned from an album once owned by Mary Capron Mapes, a relative of Horace's through his son Charles Bruce Capron. It was donated by Pat Reece thanks to her mother, Margaret Capron Jones, who has researched her family's history in Paris. - Inscriptions
