- This photograph depicts Mary Sovereign Capron, who was the third wife of Hiram Capron's brother Horace Capron. She was the mother of Charles Bruce, Aden and Margaret Capron.

This photograph was scanned from an album once owned by Mary Capron Mapes, a relative of Horace's through his son Charles Bruce Capron. It was donated by Pat Reece thanks to her mother, Margaret Capron Jones, who has researched her family's history in Paris. - Inscriptions
