Description
This photograph depicts "ancient and modern" teams of oxen and horses pulling a cart carrying a roof and a few male passengers down a road in Paris. A dog is on the right of the photo. 1913 was a transitional period when horses were becoming less and less common on the streets of Paris.

This image was printed on page 217 of At the Forks of the Grand: Volume I by D. A. Smith.
