- Description
- In this rough draft of a letter written to the mayor and corporation of Paris, Capron complains about the poor condition of the William Street bridge crossing Smiths Creek. Because the bridge was significantly decaying, Capron was concerned for the safety of his cattle and teams, which crossed the bridge almost daily, and upset that the Council did not consider the bridge to be the property of Paris and hence outside their responsibility.
