Toronto 12 February 1836

Dear Sir I have got through your Business so far as attaining the Attorney General's fiat for the deed including both parcels of Land, and in the order to expedite the Business this the Surveyor's office + have my self done their work for them by Copying the Descriptions. Both Mr Smith and my self are continually applying for [those?] Descriptions from the Surveyors office but cannot as yet move them (underlined: 2 words) they have to much Business which they say must be attended to + that any can only be taken up in turn.

to apply daily + hope to get the descriptions not at this turn, as I know that you all anxious for the deed. I have written this satisfy you that every thing is going on in the proper train and that the delay day but [?ot] [wi?h] me Mr Holmes was here a short time ago + I got him to design a paper authorising the deed to you in your name, but [Mr She??m] afterwards very fortunately [f???d] the [h?is?ing] paper to that all [??as] made [?ha?t].
