- Description
- A photograph of the Paris Junction Station. The Junction station was where the two first, and biggest railways in the county intersected. These were the Great Western and The Buffalo, Brantford, and Goderich Railways and they intersected in 1856. This junction would directly kickstart the prosperity of the town of Paris as nearly all rail traffic in the county had to pass through the junction station. The station remained in use until 1968.
This photo and a few others were found in a photo album at the County of Brant Public Library. It is unknown when this photo was taken and by whom. - Notes
- Based on the dates other photos in this collection were taken, it was likely that this photograph was taken in the 1960s.
