- Headstone for Alexander Howden, his wife Elizabeth, and Sarah Howden. Alexander died on May 20th 1915 at 81 years old. Elizabeth Jane (maiden name Cowie) was 75 years old when she died on August 25 1912. Sarah, who was married to Benjamin Howden, died on September 6th 1854 at 38 years old. Her parents are buried in Ancaster.
Based on dates and ages, Sarah and Benjamin Howden could be the parents of Alexander. - Notes
- This headstone is located in the Second Onondaga Baptist Church Cemetery which was established after the church was built in 1854. The Church and Cemetery are located on 330 Baptist Church Road, 0.3 km south of Mulligan Road.
