- Headstone at Salt Springs Cemetery for Thomas Wilkinson, his wife Frances, their three children Florence, Charles, and George, and another Wilkinson Charlotte.
Thomas was born in 1851 and died in 1915. Frances E. (maiden name Rose) was born in 1860 and died in 1928. Florence Lillian passed away in 1897 and was born in 1896. Charles Cecil was born in 1899 and died three years later in 1902. George Alexander was born in 1892 and died in 1904.
Charlotte E. Wilkinson, who is likely a sister of Thomas, was born in 1846 and passed away in 1890. - Notes
- Located right next to the Salt Springs Church on the Grand River, the Salt Springs Cemetery has been in operation since 1822. The cemetery is still active under the management of the Salt Springs Cemetery Board of Trustees. There is a plaque on the property that tells the history of the Grand River Mission.
