- Headstone at Salt Springs Cemetery for Joseph Charlton and his two wives, Elizabeth and Mary Ann. Joseph was born in 1837 and died in 1912. His first wife Mary Ann died in 1887 and was born in 1838. Elizabeth S., his second wife, was born in 1853 and died in 1937.
- Notes
- Located right next to the Salt Springs Church on the Grand River, the Salt Springs Cemetery has been in operation since 1822. The cemetery is still active under the management of the Salt Springs Cemetery Board of Trustees. There is a plaque on the property that tells the history of the Grand River Mission.
