Description
Headstone at Salt Springs Cemetery for John McIrvine and his two daughters, Evelyn May and Edith Rhea. John was born in 1862 and died in 1898. Evelyn May was born in 1895 and died one year later. Edith Rhea was born in 1897 and passed in 1905.
Notes
Located right next to the Salt Springs Church on the Grand River, the Salt Springs Cemetery has been in operation since 1822. The cemetery is still active under the management of the Salt Springs Cemetery Board of Trustees. There is a plaque on the property that tells the history of the Grand River Mission.
