- Description
- Headstone at Salt Springs Cemetery for an unnamed Darnley. The top of the headstone where the name would be has been broken off and the dates are faded. The only thing that can be read is the first three numbers of a year: 188.
This Darnley is likely related to Joseph E. Darnley and possibly to Sarah V. Dearnley as well. - Notes
- Located right next to the Salt Springs Church on the Grand River, the Salt Springs Cemetery has been in operation since 1822. The cemetery is still active under the management of the Salt Springs Cemetery Board of Trustees. There is a plaque on the property that tells the history of the Grand River Mission.
