Description
This image is of a headstone at Lang's Cemetery for Edward Lampkin died September 11, 1877 at the age of 66. He was born in 1810 or 1811.
Notes
The Lang Cemetery is behind the barn on the east corner of Hwy No.2 and the Madden Road. It is no more than half an acre in size. There are a number of graves without stones. Most of the stones had foot stones that have been removed. This is a family cemetery but in the early days travellers going through have died from epidemics and other reasons and some are buried here with no markers.

Edward Lampkin was the husband of Sydney B. Lampkin (nee. Langs), the father of Martha Lampkin, John Lampkin, Catherine Lowrey (Nee. Lampkin), and Helen M. Cornwell (nee. Lampkin), and was the maternal grandfather of Harry Dare Lowrey, Wilhelmine Lowrey, James W. Lowrey, and Rebecca J.C.D. Lowrey.
