Description
This item is a letter sent from Thomas McCosh, a Paris merchant, to George Foster and Sons dated February 12, 1904. After Mr. McCosh encloses orders, he writes that Mrs. Edwin had a bill payment from January he found in his order book, which he can send to George Foster should they not have a duplicate. He further discusses clients that have made payments on their accounts.

George Foster and Sons was a Wholesale Grocery business initially located at 143 Colborne Street before relocating to a larger building at 251 Colborne Street on the historic South Side of Brantford.

Paris Station Feb 8th/1904

Messrs Geo. Foster + Sons

Brantford

Gentlemen,

Herewith enclosed

please find orders. The order

for Mrs. Edwin [fall] was taken

cash trip 29 Jan. I found it

in my order book. If I have

not left you a duplicate, you

can send this, non of the last

goods have arrived in [fall] yet

I did not see [Rlayer in Weston]

G. Munster Preston says he send your

$25.00 [Jahall] paid $25.00 on a/c also mess

Pentland paid $10.00 + H. Dragon Ayr $15.00

and pay them our [illegible]. If any changes

please let me know at once here
