Description
This item is a letter sent from Thomas McCosh, a Paris merchant, to George Foster and Sons dated February 1, 1904. After enclosing orders, Mr. McCosh requests that Mrs. McDowell be sent several packages of Sri Lankan tea that she has paid for. After noting shipment details to Drumbo, Mr. McCosh writes that he will be going to Walkerton, then to Paris and Harriston if the weather is good.

George Foster and Sons was a Wholesale Grocery business initially located at 143 Colborne Street before relocating to a larger building at 251 Colborne Street on the historic South Side of Brantford.

Gentlemen,

Herewith enclosed

please find orders. Send

Mrs. McDowell the [fine] Ceylon

tea in 1/2 +1" pkgs of [illegible] half pound

send it amount. She paid one

amt and her last two invoices

Be sure and send Waddell Ross

Roasted oats. You can ship from

[Drumbo] he does not want [Archibald]

I will go through to Walkerton

to night if the tram goes through

I drive from Paris to Harriston this morning and

did not get here [illegible] tonight.
