Description
This item is a letter sent from Thomas McCosh, a Paris merchant, to George Foster and Sons dated December 14, 1903. After enclosing one small order with his letter, Mr. McCosh writes that a deliver was not made on time. He also cannot drive due to the road conditions, so he phoned out to Mr. M. Donald about the delivery. He plans on going to Harriston, Palmerton, and Elora the following days, and to Brantford for a customer payment of $20.

Paris Station Dec 14th 1903

George Foster + Sons

Brantford

Gentlemen,

Herewith enclosed

please find one small order

the grains were all behind [time]

did not get here write five

O'clock. Cannot drive the

roads are all drifted up with

snow. I telephoned out to [Mr.]

M. Donald [Riverside]. He will

then was nothing would until

next trip. I will go down to

Harriston and Palmerton tomorrow

and go to Elora tomorrow evening

no Brantford paid me $20.00

on a/c and will do [better] the

beginning of the years, his accord

come in then.
