Description
This item is a letter sent from Thomas McCosh, a Paris merchant, to George Foster and Sons dated December 10, 1903. After enclosing two small orders with his letter, Mr. McCosh writes that he got a man to drive him carefully so he could conduct some business. One of the orders is needed for the next day, while another one needs them immediately. He also adds that he will attempt one more stop before heading home and will see about going again next week.

George Foster and Sons was a Wholesale Grocery business initially located at 143 Colborne Street before relocating to a larger building at 251 Colborne Street on the historic South Side of Brantford.

Paris Station Dec 10th 1903

George Foster + Sons

Brantford

Gentlemen,

Herewith enclosed

please find tow small orders

I got the lively man to drive

me and by being careful got

through all night do not ship

order for G.W. Harrison Drumbo

until morning. Then may be a

[head] down this week if not ship

on Monday. J.H. [Annllow] got me

a small order. A party is tacking of

buying him outs so he orders what

he is in immediate in now of I

may try and go to [Gael] today and

home tonight. If Simpson as well

as I have then driving by and go

out next week.
