Description
This item is a letter sent from Thomas McCosh, a Paris merchant, to George Foster and Sons dated April 6, 1903. After enclosing his orders within the letter, Mr. McCosh writes that H. Deaton in Ayr has paid him the $10 he owed. After acknowledging he received George Foster's previous letter, he disputes the claim that he had mispriced the cheese he was selling, stating the he only sold them at a different price to a Mr. Gunn along with other goods at the discretion of the business. McCosh adds that he will be driving to Harrisburg, Harriston, Clifford and Walkerton in the next few days.
Notes
George Foster and Sons was a Wholesale Grocery business initially located at 143 Colborne Street before relocating to a larger building at 251 Colborne Street on the historic South Side of Brantford.
