Description
This item is a letter sent from Thomas McCosh, a Paris merchant, to George Foster and Sons dated January 24, 1903. After enclosing both orders and a statement with cash of $182, Mr. McCosh writes that he has settled a concern with a client and will send that statement next week. He had received word that D.M. Call had got his order, and that they should check with George to make sure that an additional order was also sent.

George Foster and Sons was a Wholesale Grocery business initially located at 143 Colborne Street before relocating to a larger building at 251 Colborne Street on the historic South Side of Brantford.

Brantford

Gentlemen,

Herewith enclosed

please find orders also state-

ment of collections with

cash one hundred and eighty two

($182.00) dollars. I settled with

V. Stock. [I am quite secondary]

to his statement if it is our concern

I can away it next week. I did

not hear from you last [night]

will likely have your letter today

the last [corn] week that D.M. Call

got was full of Bill shells. See that

it is al right this time, check M. George

order send after last one but it was not

sent. See that he get it this time.
