Description
This item is a letter sent from G.W. Rehder of Matthews and Rehder general merchandise store in Paris, to George Foster and Sons dated February 13, 1903. Mr. Rehder owned a general store at the Paris Junction, a location in downtown, and was mayor of the Town of Paris. He writes regarding a receival note that was left at George Fosters' office, and that his associate Larry will be making a payment on the account Monday to cover the fees due as soon as possible. Mr. Rehder further asks that the delivery charge be added to his account.

George Foster and Sons was a Wholesale Grocery business initially located at 143 Colborne Street before relocating to a larger building at 251 Colborne Street on the historic South Side of Brantford.

Brantford

Dear Sirs,

Please find enclosed

a [receival] note to cover

one due at your office

today. Larry [included] that

are [covered for often] in

today but will have a

buy [amount] on a/c where

no [include] is a/c on Monday

and want to wipe that out

[point] as soon as possible .

Kindly accept this and charge

to a/c with the [delivery] and

very much oblige.
