Description
This item is a letter sent from Thomas McCosh, a Paris merchant, to George Foster and Sons dated March 25, 1901. After enclosing orders, Mr. McCosh writes that could not do any business in Brussels and that Mr. Thurman paid off his previous bill. He did not return until 10:30 p.m. and will continue to do what he can in the morning.

George Foster and Sons was a Wholesale Grocery business initially located at 143 Colborne Street before relocating to a larger building at 251 Colborne Street on the historic South Side of Brantford.

Mess to Geo Foster and Sons

Brantford

Gentlemen,

Herewith enclosed

please find order, [could]

do nothing in Brussels [Mr.

Thurman] paid me and of

last bill. The [illegible]

late I did not get in here

under half past ten O'clock.

Will do what I can in the

morning. Then drive to [illegible]

and go to London way for

Ralph and Rim [illegible].
