Description
This item is a letter sent from Thomas McCosh, a Paris merchant, to George Foster and Sons dated June 20, 1901. After enclosing orders, Mr. McCosh writes that he was unable to do much in Clinton, and has picked up cheese for delivery to several clients.
Notes
George Foster and Sons was a Wholesale Grocery business initially located at 143 Colborne Street before relocating to a larger building at 251 Colborne Street on the historic South Side of Brantford.

Mess to Geo. Foster + Sons

Brantford

Gentlemen,

Herewith enclosed

please find order I [could]

do nothing in Clinton. I took

the cheese from Deena and [illegible]

and sold it to [29 Siphery] on

[illegible] 68" after [cutting] off the

bad. I will go on to Lucan

and try there again tomorrow morning.
