Description
This item is a letter sent from Thomas McCosh, a Paris merchant, to George Foster and Sons dated June 11, 1901. After enclosing orders, Mr. McCosh writes of not seeing Mr. Moyer while he was out on his farm. After receiving payment, Mr. McCosh will go down to Palmerston in the morning and return in the afternoon.

George Foster and Sons was a Wholesale Grocery business initially located at 143 Colborne Street before relocating to a larger building at 251 Colborne Street on the historic South Side of Brantford.

Harriston, Ont., June 11th 1901

Mess to Geo. Foster + Sons

Brantford

Gentlemen,

Herewith enclosed

please find orders. I did not

see Mr. Moyer in [Mildmay] he was

out on his farm. [illegible]

is all right he was in permanent help with

Moyer he has brought our []

[] near Rockton paid me and

of his last bill. I will go down

to Palmerston in the morning

then and back in the afternoon.
