Description
This item is a letter sent by telegraph from Thomas McCosh, a Paris merchant, to George Foster and Sons dated April 30, 1901. Mr. McCosh writes of enclosed orders for delivery he hopes to pick up for tomorrow. He states that he was late in arriving to Clifford and could not do business there, so he will do what he can before heading to Palmerston.

George Foster and Sons was a Wholesale Grocery business initially located at 143 Colborne Street before relocating to a larger building at 251 Colborne Street on the historic South Side of Brantford.

Mess to Geo Foster + Sons

Brantford

Gentlemen,

Herewith enclosed

please find orders. I find

because [dull] up here I [drove]

this afternoon to [illegible]. Could

do nothing there. Then on to [illegible]

Clifford and here I got in too

late to do business. Will do

what I can here

in the morning, then drive

down to Palmerston.
