George Foster & Sons
Brantford
Dear Mr. Foster
One of our [clients] Mr. J.W. Clark
tells us to night that be [had] made you
[an] offer for your property near Cainsville
and that you had mentioned our name [in]
regard to getting an idea of the present
value of the [space]. If not assuming to
much in the matter would say that we
believe the property has deteriorated considerably
in value during the last few years as a
property of this [description] needs a continual
[outlay] in order that it may be kept in
first class condition as it was to all
appearances some years ago. We thank Mr.
Clarke as [considerable] and [illegible] may
and will no doubt offer all he feels the
property is worth and would be pleased
to [know] that you had been successful
in making a satisfactory sale.
Yours truly
Simpson Bros
