Description
This item is a letter sent from J.W. Hillborn, a Paris merchant, to George Foster and Sons on April 25, 1902. Mr. Hillborn arranges the delivery of a number of goods to be delivered to him, and offers to sell them a case of maple syrup.

George Foster and Sons was a Wholesale Grocery business initially located at 143 Colborne Street before relocating to a larger building at 251 Colborne Street on the historic South Side of Brantford.

Mess. Geo Fosters + Sons

Brantford

Sirs

I have nearly sold my allowance of

[fifty dollars] . Will

you require any [goods] and not definitely

arranged but think they will cost $3.65 [illegible]

delivered Brantford. Not 30% this is

basis upon which all sales here been

made -

I am also enclosing orders for delivery

on a/c [illegible].

Fay's chocolate for next month

Cox gelatine for next month

Colon [illegible] for next month

French glue on [illegible]

Are you wanting any [illegible] maple syrup.

I am selling case full of this grand again

this season than get there the first

complaint!
