- This 5 April 1994 Burford Times article announces a new paint recycling program that will collect unused paint at a site in London to be recycle into new paint at the Home Hardware Paint and Chemical Division in Burford. The article quotes Home Hardware resource and development manager Brenda Johnston, general manager Jamie Kent, general manager and vice president of Home Hardware Stores Limited Paul Strauss, executive director of the Association of Municipal Recycling Coordinators Linda Varangu, environmental and regulatory affairs officer Terri Milton, chairman of the Ontario Paint Association Alan Blackie, Reeve Robert Chambers, and MPP Ron Eddy. Ron Tremblay was presented with the Earth Care Award.
