Copley Pattingham Aug 30th 1942 My Dear Boys, My intention was to write an Air Letter this week-end, because I fully expected that we should have [printouts?] of the snapshots that Bob Gillin took: I thought it a good idea to send them by air mail so that they would be more certain of reaching you. - Surely they will be here by Tuesday or Wed. So that I shall send an Air letter then, but this is just a short note because I did not want to miss --- Jean + Pat have been here all week + we've all had a very nice time. Jean teased George (the Dutchman) all the time but I don't think he minded. The cutting of the wheat was finished [one?] dinner time
